(Seeking: 1 Full-Time Saturday & Sunday 7 pm-7 am; Thursday and Friday 2nd shift 3 pm-11 am)

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Staff Security to join our team. The Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for our residents by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a resident site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You’ll Do

Create a Secure Environment:

  • You will provide a highly visible status to residents and potential intruders to foster a sense of safety.
  • Operate wireless communications equipment between the Security Guard and the office.
  • Observe video monitors. Patrol hallways, buildings, and parking lots to ensure it is well lit and resident vehicles are locked.
  • Determine that no unauthorized vehicles are present.
  • Ensure that all doors are secured and locked in the evening.
  • Respond personally to the location to satisfy the needs of the residents and personnel.
  • Adhere to established safety procedures. Maintains a current list of emergency numbers.
  • Keep a record of residents entering and leaving the premises after the front doors are locked.
  • Answer incoming phone lines when the office is closed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
  • In the event of an emergency, assist local emergency personnel within the facility as needed.
  • Attend all required training, in-services, and staff meetings.


What You’ll Bring

Experience & Education:

  • Knowledge of legal requirements for security guard position required.
  • Make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Previous security experience desired. Knowledge of legal requirements for security guard position required.
  • Ability to react calmly and confidently under pressure and in unexpected situations.
