Drywall Technician

Sinking Spring, PA

  • Deliver high-quality drywall repairs with precision, working independently in custom and luxury buildings with high-profile clients
  • Repair & patch drywall, ensuring a smooth, seamless finish
  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming, and assess damage to determine repair methods
  • Apply joint compound, tape, and other materials
  • Follow safety guidelines, maintaining a safe work environment
  • Provide professional customer service, communicating clearly about repair processes and timelines
  • Maintain & care for tools and equipment, ensuring good working conditions
  • Complete required paperwork, including job reports and time logs
  • Work full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:45 AM (40-50 hours per week with occasional Saturday hours)

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Drywall Repair and Patch Technician to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality drywall repairs, patching, and finishing work in residential and commercial settings. Our Ideal Drywall Technician:

  • Experienced: At least two years of experience in drywall finishing, repair, and patching, with proficiency in drywall techniques like cutting, taping, finishing, and texturing. Experience with residential and commercial work is preferred.
  • Tools & Equipment: Familiarity with power sanders, drywall knives, and taping tools; additional finish work experience (painting and texturing) is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to achieve a smooth, flawless finish with precision, ensuring all repairs meet the highest standards.
  • Customer-oriented: Strong communication skills with a positive attitude and commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Safety-minded: Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to follow all safety procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
  • Independent Worker: Comfortable working on your own and taking ownership of tasks.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning and using Builder Trend for project management and documentation.
  • Active: Able to lift up to 75 lbs., bend, kneel, and work from a ladder.
