Job Description
Warehouse Process Lead and Generalist Location Peterborough, NH :
Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains documentation for Distribution and Warehousing Services, including SOPs, Work Instructions, and Forms.
- Identifies, collaborates, and initiates new (or updates existing) warehouse processes and procedures.
- Clarifies business needs and project scope to confirm dependencies, implications, and associated product (or BOM) relationships.
- Ability to identify and analyze business requirements to determine best options for effective and efficient warehouse procedures and guidelines.
- Increases the team's efficiency by recognizing and implementing process improvement initiatives and changes to outdated or ineffective procedures.
- When NOT performing process lead and documentation related responsibilities, performs various distribution center duties as needed and assigned by the Warehouse Operations Manager including project area assemblies, product testing, returns processing, inbound / outbound shipping and order fulfillment.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned.
Roles Associated with - ALL OF THE following could apply:
- Warehouse Technical Products Coordinator - Trains appropriate personnel, initiates and closes projects
- Warehouse Product Technician - Performs tasks associated with specific projects as defined in the work instructions for that project
- Warehouse Technical Inspector - Reviews and approves tasks associated with specific projects performed by Warehouse Product Technicians as defined in the work instructions for that project
- Material Handler - Performs duties associated with physically moving and handling product from one pallet or location to another
- Order Fulfilment Specialist - Performs tasks associated with pic, pack and shipping orders to customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time to carry out certain duties.
- While working in the Distribution Center, must have the ability to wear personal protective gear correctly including suitable head covering and gloves.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of prior Warehouse Experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively, especially with regards to clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Some experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Asana and Oracle NetSuite is preferred.
- Strong time management and project management skills.
- Capable of presenting ideas and results through both informal and formal presentations to impacted staff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
