The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new customers and expand business with existing clients. The TSM will manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and exceed expectations. This role will be responsible for revenue growth, market intelligence, and leadership. As an outside sales representative, the TSM will play a crucial role in driving the company's success through strategic sales initiatives and exceptional customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Strong Relationships: Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships to foster loyalty and trust.
Drive New Business: Proactively initiate contact with prospects and assigned leads to create exciting new opportunities. Follow up on warm leads from social media, referrals, and marketing campaigns to convert interest into action. Identify key accounts, arrange visits, and deliver compelling presentations to showcase our products and services. Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers to close deals efficiently. Communicate recommendations for additional business opportunities to the National Sales Manager.
Monitor and Achieve: Track sales activities and provide insightful reports to uncover new opportunities. Collaborate with the National Sales Manager to set and meet sales targets and KPIs. Stay ahead in the market by monitoring and reporting on competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
Support and Expand: Deliver ongoing sales support and exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing customers to uncover new opportunities for account growth.
Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with customer service, application engineers, marketing, and sales team members to identify and pursue new leads. Support marketing activities through strategy sessions, targeted campaigns, case studies, webinars, and social media tactics. Maintain regular communication with the National Sales Manager to develop strategies for generating and winning opportunities.
Enhance and Maintain: Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency. Ensure a complete and accurate database within your assigned territory or markets.
