Responsibilities

As a Tax Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to

• Supervising and reviewing the preparation of complex tax returns for HNW individuals, private equity firms, hedge funds, and investment partnerships.
• Providing proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients.
• Managing and maintaining relationships with clients, ensuring their tax compliance and consulting needs are met.
• Researching and analyzing complex tax issues, changes in tax regulations, and new tax laws to provide appropriate recommendations to clients.
• Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
• Assisting in the development and training of junior staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality work is delivered.
• Participating in business development initiatives, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Tax Supervisor role should have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• Proven experience in working with HNW individuals, private equity, hedge funds, and investment partnerships.
• A deep understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax software and technology tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. A CPA license or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
• Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
