Job Description

The Layne Project’s (TLP) Supervised Services Provider position is responsible for providing Supervised Services including supervised parenting time and supervised exchanges. This position is 10-20 hours per week, to include evening and weekend hours, is a non-exempt position and reports directly to the Director of Operations.

Supervised parenting time refers to a situation where a parent is allowed to spend time with their child only under the supervision of a neutral third party. This arrangement is often put in place by a court to ensure the child's safety and well-being during visits. Visits may occur on-site at the TLP office, in the community, and/or in the visiting parent’s home.

Supervised exchanges involve the transfer of a child between parents under the observation of a neutral third party. This arrangement is designed to ensure the safety and well-being of the child during the handover process. Courts may mandate supervised exchanges when there are concerns about potential conflicts or safety risks during the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the safety and well-being of the child during supervised parenting services, while maintaining a neutral and supportive environment to all parties.
• Document observations, interactions and provide incident reports as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents, children, and relevant parties to maintain clear and respectful interactions.
• Maintain a clear understanding of all supervised services policies/procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in social services or a related field is preferred.

Salary: $18.00 per hour
