Determines safety training requirements and provides employees with safety training applicable to their work processes. Investigates accidents to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factors. Develops recommendations and follow-up to prevent accident recurrence. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of government safety regulations. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization. All activities must be in compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity laws, HIPAA, ERISA, and other regulations, as appropriate **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** + 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) + In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. + Four (4) or more years Experience in a related field (Required) + Required CertIfications/Licensures: (Valid driver's license) + Preferred Certification **:** IE Certified Safety Professional or working towards Certification **JOB REQUIREMENTS** + Health & Safety Management + Reporting + Incident Response Procedures + Emergency Response + Health & Safety Standards + Health & Safety Policies and Procedures Federal, State and Local Health & Safety Regulations + OSHA Regulations + Occupational Safety Regulations Environmental + Analysis + Change Management + Some travel required in assigned region.
