Salary: 144,300 - 260,850 USD per year Requirements:

• I am well-versed in IBM’s MDM version 11.x product, with hands-on implementation and customization experience.
• I possess knowledge of common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and development practices.
• I am proficient in Java, Spring, and C2S.
• I have experience in the software development lifecycle, delivering within DevOps toolsets and practices.
• I'm familiar with Agile development environments and tempos.
• I have experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• I have worked with cloud data services (e.g., S3, RDS, EFS).
• I am experienced in using version control systems and issue/problem tracking systems.
• I possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• I hold a Master’s degree with 15+ years of prior relevant experience, or a Doctorate with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• I have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities:

• I will provide administration and expertise in IBM Master Data Management (MDM) version 11.x product implementation and customization based on customer requirements.
• I will review the current MDM environment to identify data quality gaps, performance issues, and configuration issues.
• I will design and develop customized MDM code and interfaces based on requirements.
• I will participate in software programming initiatives to support innovation and enhancement using Java, JavaScript, Python, SpringBoot, and Hibernate.
• I will develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon.
• I will develop and integrate custom-developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies.
• I will prototype and deploy solutions within Commercial Cloud Solutions, leveraging infrastructure platform services.
• I will coordinate closely with team members, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation for customer use cases.
• I will analyze through proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing, ensuring that Infrastructure needs are met driven by developed software to support customer mission needs.
• I will support the Agile software development lifecycle, following Program SAFe practices.
• I will utilize industry-leading DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Unix bash scripting.
• I will document and perform systems software development, including deployment of build artifacts across different environments leveraging GitFlow constructs.
• I will communicate key project data to team members to build team cohesion and effectiveness.
• I will leverage the Atlassian tool suite like JIRA and Confluence to track activities.
• I will apply and identify best practices and standard operating procedures.
• I will create innovative solutions to meet the technical needs of customers.

I have an immediate need for an IBM MDM Software Engineer SME to provide Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems. As a Software Engineer on this program, I will have the opportunity to build strong systems, software, and cloud environments, while providing operations and maintenance for critical systems. My role will involve providing technical expertise and support in the design, development, implementation, and testing of customer tools and applications. Based within a DevOps framework, I will participate in and/or direct major project deliverables throughout all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing.

Preferred qualifications include IBM MDM Server product upgrade experience. The Leidos pay range for this position is $144,300.00 - $260,850.00, which serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation.
