Job Description

Responsibilities

We are hiring! We are adding a Senior Program Manager to the team supporting our current government contract. This hired individual will be joining a team of high performers.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for overall team management and VDI Engineering services delivery.
  • Responsible for the overall technical direction of the VDI engineering team and the development of innovative solutions to support the implementation and optimization of VDI environments.
  • Must have a deep understanding of virtualization technologies, a passion for problem-solving, and strong leadership abilities to ensure successful delivery of VDI services.
  • Responsible for the successful technical, schedule, and cost performance of one or more multi-disciplined programs, in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage one or more projects or programs and supervise professional and technical personnel performing their customary disciplines.
  • Maintain aggressive efforts to achieve objectives. Acts as a technical liaison with the client and vendors.
  • Develop and deliver required program and project reports.
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects, manages schedules, and prepares status reports.
  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, clients, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
  • Experience working with contracts of similar scope and size.
  • Experience leading teams of technical employees/personnel. 
  • Experience with high performance teams to meet and exceed service levels
  • Should have knowledge of industry best practices as articulated by, but not limited to, the Project Management principles, Lean IT, Agile practices, ITIL, as well as DevSecOps.
  • Experience in project management and forecasting toolsets.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL Certification
  • Microsoft Azure Certifications and/or experience
  • Experience with VDI solutioning
  • Prior experience with a government contract
  • AWS certifications and/or experience

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
