Job Title: Senior Data Center Technical Support Analyst
Duration: 36+ Months
Location: Louisiana (Remote Role)

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Center Technical Support Analyst to join a dynamic team in supporting critical enterprise systems and networks. The successful candidate will evaluate, recommend, and assist in the installation and customization of software and hardware, while ensuring the optimal performance of complex enterprise networks. This role involves coordinating with vendors and providing technical expertise to end-users, administrators, and support personnel across multiple governmental agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and recommend the selection of vendor-supplied software packages, and prepare specifications for modifications and customization.
  • Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and modification of software (e.g., operating systems, communications managers, database management systems).
  • Design and develop in-house software packages or modifications to vendor software, working with vendors to address issues related to software and hardware.
  • Advise users, administrators, and technical support personnel on network design, documentation, problem analysis, and education on software and network performance.
  • Establish policies regarding data definition, database design, and database security.
  • Perform database planning and administration, including establishing standards and procedures, ensuring database security, and providing technical support.
  • Review proposed changes to the database and assess their feasibility and impact.
  • Install, configure, and monitor software and hardware for managing enterprise computer systems networks.
  • Implement and maintain a communications system connecting various components of the enterprise network.
  • Monitor and evaluate network performance and efficiency, ensuring optimal performance across LANs, WANs, and other systems.
  • Manage configuration data for network software and hardware components.
  • Oversee the monitoring of network devices, diagnosing performance issues, and performing load balancing across systems.

Required Expertise:

  • Proven experience working with large-scale state Enterprise Architecture systems serving multiple governmental agencies.
  • Strong familiarity with how various components of an Enterprise Architecture integrate.
  • Experience with the following EA components or similar technologies:
    • Decision Center, Decision Server (IBM): Business Rules Engine (BRE)
    • webMethods (Software AG): Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
    • API Gateway (Broadcom/Software AG): Enterprise API Gateway

Desirable Experience:

  • At least six (6) years of experience in large-scale Enterprise Architecture environments.
  • Knowledge of the following technologies:
    • Nutanix/Dell and VxRail/Dell: Hyper-converged computing with compute, storage, and virtualization in a single appliance.
    • VMware Products: ESXi, vCenter, NSX, SRM.
    • Microsoft Products: Windows Server, MS SQL Server 2014.
    • RedHat Enterprise Linux: Standard OS for Linux.
    • Monitoring and Automation Tools: Nagios, NewRelic APM/Infrastructure/Browser, Splunk, Veracode, Octopus Deploy, Puppet Enterprise.
