Kentro is hiring an experienced Journeyman Scrum Master to support a DOD SOCOM opportunity . Kentro will provide the Government with program management and services related to emerging technology solutions including Enterprise Architecture (EA) and data science, application development and management support, training, and enterprise ecosystem support.

Responsibilities :

  • Manages development teams through the agile framework.
  • Performs project management tasks to coordinate and prioritize user stories for team members to implement. Provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics generation and analysis to track the overall efficiency of software delivery across the team.
  • Facilitates horizontal communication across team members to identify impediments that may prevent team progress while working on mitigation plans as needed. Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives. Has domain and expert technical knowledge. Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
  • Ensures all software and application development is supported by appropriate documentation and executed through agile ceremonies.
  • Uses agile methodologies to support teams performing application development, legacy application migration to containerized applications, data solution development, solutions and innovation teams, security development and implementation teams, or data warehouse/database development teams.

Requirements

  • Journeyman level: A Bachelor's degree and 3 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Substitutions for education:
  • Associate's degree plus 4 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work with Teams, but self-motivated to complete projects on your own
  • Ability to work fully on-site with minimal accommodation

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance
