Job Description

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the banking and financial services sector.
• The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile processes, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement for Agile teams.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality banking applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Guide and coach the team on Agile/Scrum best practices within a banking environment.
• Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to improve team efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to define and refine requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles while complying with banking regulations and security standards.
• Track and monitor sprint progress using JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of innovation.
• Communicate with stakeholders, business analysts, and executives to align priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to project timelines and regulatory compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in the banking/financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Experience with digital banking, core banking systems, payments, lending, or wealth management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of banking compliance, risk, and security considerations.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification preferred.
