Location: Torrance, CA
Position Type: Full-time, 12-hour Day Shifts
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and delivery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.
- Monitor fetal and maternal status, assess progress of labor, and intervene as necessary to address any complications or concerns.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and assist with surgical interventions such as cesarean sections.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during labor, delivery, and postpartum period.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- National Provider NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (upon hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in Labor and Delivery upon hire.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: USD $98,000 to $130,000
- Full-time position with full benefits
- No relocation assistance
- No commission or bonus eligibility
- No overtime eligibility
- No interview travel reimbursement
