About the Family & Social Services Administration:
The Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) is a division within the Family and Social Services Administration, which receives around 18 percent of the state's budget to ensure vital health care coverage to approximately 1 in 4 Hoosiers. Role Overview :
This role is responsible for supervising and directing a team dedicated towards reviewing all initial and renewal provider certification applications for individuals and agencies requesting to be certified by OMPP as a personal care services agency for the Indiana Pathways for Aging program. This process entails the thorough review of all business policy and procedure documentation and other required documentation submitted by a provider. You will also ensure that OMPP Pathways for Aging providers have the tools and knowledge that equip them to provide high quality and person-centered services that are in full compliance with state and federal regulations, accomplishing this through one on one and group training and technical assistance.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in any field plus a minimum of five years’ full-time direct-service experience with the elderly or disabled (or administrative experience working within a personal care services agency). A master’s degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience. Demonstrated comfort with effective public speaking and presentation skills is strongly preferred.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $75,010.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
