Designer and Manufacturer of Architectural Water features seeking an experienced and detail-oriented programmer to join our growing team.

Programmer Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary Programmer for all automated fountain projects.
• Startup travel involving mechanical and electrical systems for projects around the country, with potential for some international travel as well.
• Write Sequence of Operations for all automated projects at Submittal Stage.
• Follow proper guidelines & communication for coordination and confirmation of owner training of the fountain systems including scheduling of travel plans.
• Following established written guidelines of testing and commissioning.
• Testing to completion, to the maximum extent possible of the fountain control panel and/or vault equipment before shipment, including commissioning of drives.
• Assist with testing of electrical products, including but not limited to lights, jets, sensors, actuating and modulating valves.
• Oversee testing checklists to ensure that they are completed and turned in.
• Be competent in troubleshooting light circuits, water level sensor functions, water makeup function, low water cut off function, relay, and testing of any electrical circuit, switch, sensor, also including automatic backwash filter systems, and network set up.
• Assist with any project mock up responsibilities as it relates to electrical scope.
• Handling of warranty requests, punch list items, troubleshooting calls from customers and developing plans of resolution to the satisfaction of Delta Fountains.
• Periodic service calls to job sites including documentation of the site visit with written reports and delivery of field reports in a timely manner.
• Overview of all Bill of Materials, Control Panel and Wiring Layout Drawings for accuracy.
• Select Automation devices, advise on proper model numbers and review for accuracy before ordering.
• Verify Receipt of Automation parts and confirm proper model numbers are accurate before opening box.
• Oversee documentation of all final data files, including PLC files, that are pertinent to the project, to be clearly and timely posted to the company server
• Read the literature and Operations and Maintenance Manuals on all new products not previously familiar to Delta prior to interaction with a system including items you are not familiar with.
• UL Liaison
• Continuous research and becoming familiar with all mechanical and electrical aspects of our business.
• Research and Development of new products and/or offerings.
• Become Proficient with knowledge of water quality.
