Job Title: Phlebotomist (Laboratory)
Location: Eureka, CA 95501
Contract: 13-week
Shift: Night Shift, 4x10-Hour (04:00 AM 2:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $42/hr (W2) | $45/hr (1099)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join the Laboratory team. This position is ideal for professionals with experience in high-volume hospital settings, including ICU and ER environments. You'll be responsible for specimen collection from a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and capillary draws across various units.
Collect, label, and transport specimens accurately and efficiently.
Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout the specimen collection process.
Support laboratory operations by assisting with clerical duties and maintaining proper documentation.
Float between similar units as needed.
Requirements
Experience: Previous hospital or acute care experience required . Pediatric experience preferred .
Certifications: Must hold appropriate phlebotomy certification (state and/or national).
Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
