Job Description

The UPS Store Alamo Heights is seeking a Part-time Center Associate to join our family-owned business. This position offers a competitive compensation range of $13.00 - $14.00 per hour, and is located in Alamo Heights, TX. As a Center Associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, attending to the business needs of our clients and ensuring a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include shipping, packing, receiving packages, printing, managing mailboxes, and offering other business solutions. We are looking for a candidate with a friendly and helpful demeanor, strong computer skills, the ability to work well in a team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-directed in daily tasks, and bring previous retail sales experience. RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivers outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
Advise our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options.
Takes ownership of the customer's needs and offers viable solutions.
Operates all equipment, software, and devices in an efficient and accurate manner.
Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent verbal skills both by phone and in person
Ability to complete general math and grammatical functions
Be notary eligible (felony free and have a valid Texas ID)
Prompt, reliable, and responsible
Able to lift 40+ pounds
Willing and able to work 15-25 hours per week within a 7 day work week
