Job Summary Reporting directly to the MRI Section Leader, the MRI Technologist performs a variety of MRI imaging procedures and is responsible for patient care and safety in the MRI environment. Interacts with the Radiologist and patients to ensure successful accomplishment of MRI imaging. Participates in QA activities. Minimum Qualifications Education Associate's Degree in an Allied Health Field. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. Experience Two years as a medical imaging technologist preferred. Licensure and/or Certification Current registration as an imaging technologist required. Must obtain MRI registration through ARRT within one year of hire as MRI technologist. BLS healthcare provider required. Skills Must have proficient IV skills.Proficient in MR safety. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be computer proficient including PACS and HIS/RIS. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to maintain confidential information required.
