About the Job
•
You will report into the Director of Merchandising, Signature.
•
You will prepare seasonal briefs based on trend and performance while working to ensure improvement on development metrics across fabrics and styles.
•
Assess and analyze product performance to determine short, medium, and long-term actions to increase opportunities and minimize risk.
•
Oversee channel assortment creation for North America in close partnership with the Commercial teams.
•
Promote revenue and profit while recommending growth opportunities and product expansions.
•
Work with Commercial teams and external partners to build an iterative relationship and understanding of the marketplace and the competitive landscape.
•
Build 12-18 month strategy for Signature, Women's line.
•
Direct the creation of a line architecture that meets consumer and customer needs, and financial targets.
•
Communicate the brand strategies and direction in a compelling manner that engages several partners.
•
Provide product level analysis to leadership with an understanding of account and country nuances.
•
Align with planning and product development partners to ensure financial needs and development metrics are met.
•
Lead Product Knowledge seminars for sales team and affiliates.
•
Prepare for and attend Milestone Meetings including Briefs, Final Line assortments, and Investment Reviews.
About You
•
Bachelor's degree (5+ years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree).
•
Minimum 5 years merchandising experience working at an apparel brand and minimum 2 years experience as a people manager.
•
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite with high proficiency in Excel (can perform complex functions).
•
Experience using Miroh.
This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $78,800- $120,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
