Role Description

Position: Registered Acupuncturist

Location: Mississauga, ON

Reporting to: Hiring Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Utilize acupuncture and related techniques to promote mental and physical well-being in clients.
• Address patient concerns and offer treatment recommendations in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within AHG to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, or a related field.
• Current provincial registration with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) as either a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac.) or Acupuncturist Herbalist (R.TCMP).
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Relevant insurance policies in place, including professional liability and general business liability.
• Exceptional ability to develop and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong aptitude for teamwork.
• Proficiency in maintaining comprehensive documentation through appropriate electronic medical record systems.
