Pax Properties is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Leasing Agent to join our Tallahassee team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our award-winning property. 

Position Overview: As a Leasing Agent at Pax Properties, your main goal will be to maximize revenue by leasing units, promoting upgrades, and offering value-added services. You’ll be at the forefront of showcasing our properties and building relationships with prospective tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Presentation & Leasing : Conduct property tours, highlight amenities, and explain why our tenants love living here. Showcase new projects designed to improve and add value to our properties.
  • Advertising & Promotion : Utilize platforms like Apartments.com, Facebook, Craigslist, and other social media outlets to advertise available units and increase exposure.
  • Market Knowledge : Stay informed about the property and market trends, ensuring competitive pricing and value offerings.
  • Lease Administration : Guide prospective tenants through the leasing process, explain policies, review screening results, and secure necessary documentation (pay stubs, landlord references).
  • Payment Collection : Collect security deposits and rent payments, accurately record transactions in the company database, and ensure timely deposits.
  • Move-In Coordination : Work with maintenance to ensure that units are ready for move-in, confirming that all necessary preparations (keys, documents, etc.) are in place.
  • Resident Communication : Notify residents about changes to the rental agreement, maintenance updates, and upcoming events. Ensure proper communication between residents and maintenance staff for seamless operations.
  • Database Management : Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records and all relevant documents in an organized manner.
