QA Internship - KnitWell

The Software Quality Assurance Intern will report to one of our Software Test Leads. You will help to verify both our products and our processes, participating in testing the functionality of one or more of our brand's websites, store applications or internal systems. This includes interpreting requirements and creating test cases, executing those test cases and reporting on the successes and failures. As a Software Quality Assurance Intern, you are helping to create concrete value for our customers.

Internship Details
  • Participate in daily Scrum and/or project status meetings
  • Work as part of a project team
  • Collaborate closely with other QA Team Members, Developers, and Project Managers
  • Create, manage and execute test cases using a tool like qTest
  • Participate in logging, debugging and updating issues in JIRA
  • Work on Test automation using Selenium
Internship Qualifications
  • Majors: Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering related fields
  • Experience working in a team environment as well as independently to meet timelines and goals.
  • Experience with PCs, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple products and MacOS/iOS
  • Understanding of computer hardware, including point of sale systems, is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must show a sense of urgency, being able to perform and multitask under pressure
  • Must be coachable
  • Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
  • Time management skills as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
Program Details
  • The KnitWell Group Summer Internship Program welcomes the classes of 2025 and 2026 college students to work with several of our brands (Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, LOFT, Talbots) and Corporate Shared Services to kick-start their career in retail. This immersive experience offers interns the opportunity to work hands-on with their department for 10-weeks and receive professional development opportunities including executive chats, professional workshops, store visits, etc., and participation in a collaborative team project.
  • The pay rate for the position is $20.00/hr.
  • KnitWell Group does not offer housing near any of our corporate office locations. Participating students must have the ability to independently secure and finance housing in a commutable distance of the office location.
