Job Description

Title : Investment Banking Associate

Location : Richmond, VA

Company Summary : We are currently partnered with a specialty boutique Investment Bank based out of Richmond, VA looking to add an Associate to their active team. This Investment Bank specializes in the Education & Training sector and has been very successful in the space. This individual will have the opportunity to work in a unique industry vertical and gain deep, transferable knowledge.

The Investment Banking Associate will be responsible for:

Working closely with senior leadership on the execution of M&A transactions throughout the life cycle of the deal
Conducting market research and analysis in order to stay abreast of relevant industry trends
Assisting in the training and mentoring of Analysts on the team
Conducting due diligence, building financial models, putting together marketing materials, and being involved in client interactions

The Investment Banking Associate should have:

At least 2 years of Investment Banking experience
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field
Ability to relocate or currently located in Richmond, VA
A passion or interest in the Education & Training sector
