Spherion Staffing in Lakeland Florida has partnered with a local Industrial refurbish shop who is looking to add skilled painters to their growing team.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and apply primers and paints following technical data sheets (TDS).
- Perform high-quality paint application using HVLP and airless spray equipment.
- Sandblast materials to industry standards, ensuring proper surface preparation.
- Set up, maintain, and clean equipment, including paint gun systems, sprayers, solvent recycling systems, and calibrated tools.
- Operate and regulate air compressors and sandblast equipment, maintaining optimal pressure and abrasive flow.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure all tools and equipment are in excellent working condition.
- Safely operate industrial tools and machinery, including forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and heavy equipment.
- Follow safety and environmental procedures for storing, handling, and disposing of paints, stains, and chemicals.
- Maintain accurate production records and consistently meet quality standards.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Working hours: Various Shifts Available
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, standing, and bending for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an industrial, non-climate-controlled environment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to company procedures.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work any shift and long hours
- Must have 2 years of experience with airless sprayers
- Drug screen and Background required.
