Responsibilities for this Position

Join our collaborative, high-performing and dynamic International Trade Compliance team!As part of our team, you will have a direct and visible impact to the Electric Boat Supply Chain organization.

Candidate should be familiar with, and possess working knowledge of U.S. Export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Responsibilities will include: review and analysis of import/export regulations, department policy writing and development, department training on regulatory and policy compliance, assisting with internal audits, providing guidance and assistance to buyers on all aspects of compliance-related matters generation and management of export authorizations including pre and post import and export reviews, creation of import/export related documentation and reporting, and commodity classification determinations.

This position is for full time in office at Electric Boat's Groton, Kings Highway facility

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills; work product sample to demonstrate proficient writing ability desired

Required:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of demonstrated contract experience
• Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), and other import/export regulations
• Applicant must possess or be able to secure secret or higher DOD clearance

Preferred:

• Prior experience with OCR EASE software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
