  Job Responsibilities:  

• Greet and Guide: Be the welcoming face of our emporium by warmly greeting visitors and providing information about our beautiful gardens. 
• Customer Checkout: Efficiently handle customer transactions with a smile, ensuring a seamless shopping experience and answering any questions our guests might have.
• Weekend Warrior: Embrace the excitement of weekend events, where you'll engage with visitors, keep the retail space buzzing, and assist with on-site events.  
• Gift Shop Guru: Take charge of maintaining the aesthetic appeal and organization of our gift shop, including restocking merchandise and keeping displays pristine.  
• Green Thumb Extraordinaire: Assist in the upkeep of our stunning gardens by p erforming daily care for the assigned nursery section, including watering, deadheading, fertilizing, pest or disease treatment, weeding, restocking, sweeping, raking, and organizing to ensure a visually appealing and healthy environment.

Required Schedule:  

• Seasonal part time to full-time position and availability on weekends is a must. Most Saturdays and Sundays during high seasons are required. Monday and Tuesday availability also desirable. 

Qualifications:  

• Passion for Roses and all things garden: A genuine love for plants and an enthusiasm for sharing that passion with others. 
• Customer Service Excellence: Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred, with a dedication to providing top-notch service. 
• Team Player Mentality: Thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working alongside fellow flower enthusiasts.  
• Adaptability: Able to juggle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities with ease.  
• Solid Work Ethic: Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks.  
• Creative Thinker: Bring fresh ideas to the table and contribute to the ongoing success of our retail experience.  
• Eager Learner: Ready to soak up knowledge about roses, retail operations, and all things gardens -related .

What We’re Looking For:  

• 1-3 years of retail sales- (garden center/nursery or lifestyle retail experience is a preferred). 
• Bachelor’s degree in business, retail or horticulture preferred. 
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. 
• Comfortable working weekends and flexible hours, especially during peak seasons and events.
