Position Overview:

Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Caseload: 6 Spanish-speaking students

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement personalized language development plans for K-12 students.
Provide focused instruction to help improve students' English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Regularly assess and track each student's progress.
Break down complex language concepts and explain them in an accessible way to students with varying levels of proficiency.

Required Qualifications:

Active teaching license in Vermont.
Master's degree in Education or a related field.
Experience teaching ELL students in K-12 settings is a plus.
Comfortable using virtual teaching platforms and technology.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse learners.
