Job Description:
The EDI Support Specialist provides first- and second-level technical support for EDI-related issues, focusing on insurance contracts. This is a 4-5 month temporary assignment (with the possibility of extension) involving the management of electronic transaction submissions, resolution of technical issues, and assisting customers with inquiries and transaction setups. This role is onsite in South Carolina and the working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., with occasional late nights and overtime.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for insurance-related EDI transactions (claims, eligibility, enrollment, payments).
  • Manage setup of electronic transactions and update associated system files.
  • Assist drug manufacturers and plan sponsors with invoice payments and onboarding.
  • Address customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance.


Requirements:

  • Associate degree in information systems/technology or 2 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of EDI or technical support experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
