Adnan Anwar Design is an interior design firm that helps clients across the country express their individuality at home. Our style is steeped in traditional design principles, with a focus on airiness and livability to make every space we work on feel fresh and modern. We love to artfully mix items from different periods and cultures, working with each client’s individual taste to make every room special.

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Content Marketing & eCommerce Strategy Intern to support our digital presence. This role blends social media content creation with eCommerce strategy and website management , making it an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the intersection of interior design, marketing, and digital retail.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and edit short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
• Generate creative ideas to showcase interior design projects and behind-the-scenes work.
• Capture and edit high-quality images for social media.
• Manage and maintain a content posting schedule to ensure consistent engagement.
• Assist in developing the strategy for a potential interior design podcast , including content planning and format brainstorming.
• Oversee the relaunch of our online store , ensuring a smooth and strategic rollout.
• Create and manage a new affiliate/eCommerce recommendations section on our website to showcase curated design finds.
• Upload, organize, and merchandise new inventory for our Chairish shop .
• Manage general website maintenance , ensuring all content is up-to-date and optimized.
• Work on strategic projects related to digital marketing, online sales optimization, and customer engagement.

Who You Are:

• Currently enrolled in a BA program , preferably in marketing, communications, business, design, journalism, or a related field.
• A fast learner and self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a dynamic environment.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
• Passionate about interior design, social media, and digital retail .
• Experienced in video editing and social media content creation .
• Familiar with Squarespace for website management (preferred).
• Comfortable with LTK (LIKEtoKNOW.it) or ShopMy for affiliate marketing (preferred).

Details:

• Location: In-person – based in New York City.
• Hours: 15-30 hours per week, flexible scheduling.
• Compensation: $18-30 per hour, based on experience.
• Duration: Must be able to start before April 1st and continue until October 1st .
