Cloud Solutions Engineer Description

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions
• Set up, configure, and maintain cloud services
• Design scalable and resilient cloud architectures
• Architect solutions using cloud-native services and technologies
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools for automating infrastructure provisioning
• Write modular and reusable infrastructure code
• Develop scripts to streamline deployment processes
• Set up and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines
• Implement security controls in cloud environments
• Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency
• Lead incident response efforts during system outages
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in cloud environments
• Communicate design decisions effectively to non-technical stakeholders
• Work as part of an agile team using methodologies such as SCRUM and SAFe

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a AWS engineering role
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Strong background in scripting languages, including Python or PowerShell
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Capability to optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency
• Experience working in agile environments with tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
• Ability to communicate design rationale to non-technical audiences
• Fluency in English
