Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. This hybrid role offers a flexible work environment where you'll have the opportunity to balance in-office and remote responsibilities. As a CPA, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts & estates, while building meaningful and lasting relationships with clients. You'll utilize your expertise in tax planning, preparation, and research to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and provide outstanding service to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts & estates.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams on tax preparation and planning.
Assist clients with tax planning and special projects to help them achieve their financial goals.
Conduct final reviews of tax returns/forms, suggesting edits before filing.
Research and resolve any tax or accounting-related issues.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and collaborating with other financial professionals.
Represent and assist clients with IRS, state, and other governmental inquiries or audits.
Ensure adherence to professional standards and comply with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Key Skills & Qualifications:

Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
A keen attention to detail with a proactive approach to work.
Highly motivated to work in a team environment and contribute to collective success.
At least 5 years of experience in tax preparation and research, with a focus on income tax returns preferred.
A minimum of 1 year of experience with final tax return sign-off.
Active CPA designation or EA certification.
Proficient in tax and accounting software (Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred), MS Office (Word, Excel), and Adobe.
Compensation & Benefits:

Base annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000.
