We are searching for a fully remote Business Development - Solar Installer Sales. Carbon Solutions Group is a developer of carbon and renewable energy products, emissions mitigation and management, greenhouse gas (“GHG”) emissions inventory, green buildings projects, Electric Vehicle Charging, and regulatory and protocol advisory services for carbon emissions and renewable fuels. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in renewable energy credits within PJM and NEISO.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence across PJM and NEISO.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential solar installers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Ability to independently manage and onboard large solar installers across PJM and NEISO.
Analyze and interpret relevant data trends to report to management and clients.
Track and report performance metrics, sales forecasts, and business trends.
Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and incentives affecting solar energy.
Increase the number of residential and commercial systems registered year over year.
Ideal Qualifications:
Existing rolodex of residential and commercial solar installers throughout NEISO and PJM
Experience and ability to work with Office/Google Suite products (Gmail, Sheets/Excel, Docs, and Google Drive).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formatting and formula capabilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with PJM-EIS GATS, NEPOOL, M-RETS, WREGIS, or state RPS programs.
