SUMMARY:

Automotive Dealership Controller - Management of dealership finance and accounting, including preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, cash flow management, external reporting, financial modeling, cash flow analysis, inventory management, internal controls, and best practices management. 3 years of Automotive Controller Experience is a must!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Controller will prepare reports to summarize and forecast activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Management of the financial accounting processes, including the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Management of operational accounting processes, including receivables, payment processing, and accounts payable.
• Management of the accounting and consolidation system(s).
• Coordinate and manage the account reconciliation process.
• Monitor and ensure timely compliance with evolving accounting guidance.
• Maintain effective controls over the accounting processes of the location.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Must have 3 years of recent Automotive Controller Experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus
