Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting compliance with relevant regulations. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of the organization and provides opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records and statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding finances.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist with tax preparation and filing requirements.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records.
• Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately.
• Perform budget analysis and assist in financial forecasting.
• Utilize financial software and ERP systems to enhance efficiency in data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quickbooks, SAP).
• Experience with general ledger and reconciliation processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
